Set up Upaya (City Cargo)

Upaya City Cargo books parcels from your own Upaya dashboard. Until Upaya shares its API documents, KinMol emails your pickup requests and you paste the tracking number back on the order. Upaya can send delivery updates to KinMol once you set the webhook.

What to have ready

  • An Upaya dashboard login. Upaya's team issues it when you register.
  • Your Upaya API key, found in your profile.
  • A few minutes in Upaya settings to set the webhook.

Steps

  1. Register with Upaya

    Call Upaya on 9801883867 to register. Their team issues your dashboard login.

  2. Copy your API key

    Sign in at https://delivery.upaya.com.np. Open Profile and copy the API Key.

  3. Enter it in KinMol

    In KinMol, open Delivery, then Configure Upaya (City Cargo). Tick Use this courier and paste the API key.

  4. Set the webhook in Upaya

    In Upaya, open Profile or Settings and find the Webhook URL box. Paste your webhook address (copy it in KinMol from this courier's page, under Your webhook address) and save.

  5. Ask for the API documentation

    Upaya's API documentation is at https://delivery.upaya.com.np/api/documentation. Ask Upaya for it, so direct booking can be switched on. Until then KinMol emails pickup requests.

Delivery updates

Sign in at https://delivery.upaya.com.np and open Profile or Settings. Find the Webhook URL box, paste your webhook address (copy it in KinMol from this courier's page, under Your webhook address) and save. Upaya has no secret box that we know of. A private key inside the address protects it, so keep the address to yourself.

Trying it out

Book one parcel from your Upaya dashboard using the delivery details copied from KinMol, then paste the tracking number back on the order. Check the tracking link opens.

If something goes wrong

The API key is refused.
Copy the key again from Profile in the Upaya dashboard. Keys are long and a missing character is easy to miss.
The webhook was not saved in Upaya.
Open Profile or Settings, paste the address into the Webhook URL box again and save. The address must be the one KinMol shows.
Direct booking is not available yet.
Upaya's API documentation page does not load its details yet. Call 9801883867 and ask them for the documents, then enter them in KinMol.
