Set up Fab Bud

Fab Bud delivers within 60 minutes inside the valley. Fab Bud runs on the Onro delivery platform, so with an Onro API key and secret KinMol books the delivery directly. Fab Bud adds the webhook for you.

What to have ready

  • A Fab Bud registration.
  • The pickup address you registered with Fab Bud.
  • An Onro API key and secret, which Fab Bud issues.

Steps

  1. Register with Fab Bud

    Register with Fab Bud and make sure the pickup address matches the location you registered.

  2. Ask for an Onro API key

    Ask Fab Bud for an Onro API key and secret. Fab Bud runs on the Onro platform, so these are the details KinMol needs.

  3. Enter them in KinMol

    In KinMol, open Delivery, then Configure Fab Bud. Tick Use this courier, paste the Onro API key and secret, and enter your shop's web address as the store reference.

  4. Ask Fab Bud to send delivery updates

    Ask Fab Bud support to add a webhook for your business, using the webhook address KinMol shows on the Fab Bud card. Ask them to give you the webhook secret, then enter it in KinMol.

  5. Book a delivery

    Book one delivery from a real order and check the tracking number appears on the order.

Where each detail is found

Onro API key
Issued by Fab Bud. Ask their team for it.
Onro secret
Issued with the API key.
Your shop's web address
The address you registered with Fab Bud.
Webhook secret
Given by Fab Bud support when they add the webhook. Enter it in KinMol.

Delivery updates

You cannot set this up yourself. Ask Fab Bud support to add a webhook for your business to KinMol's webhook address, and to give you the webhook secret. Enter the secret in KinMol. KinMol uses it to check that every update really comes from Fab Bud.

Trying it out

Book one delivery from a real order and check the tracking number appears on the order. Fab Bud delivers within 60 minutes inside the valley, so a test delivery arrives quickly.

If something goes wrong

Fab Bud cannot find the pickup address.
Check the pickup address matches the location you registered with Fab Bud. Change it in your Fab Bud account, not in KinMol.
The Onro key is refused.
Ask Fab Bud for a fresh Onro API key and secret, then enter them again in KinMol.
The delivery is booked but no updates arrive.
Ask Fab Bud support to check the webhook for your business points to the address KinMol shows, and that the webhook secret in KinMol is the one they gave you.
