Run the floor, the kitchen and the books from one place
Restaurant and cafe POS software for Nepal. Take the order at the table, send it to the kitchen, settle the bill, and keep stock, staff and the books in the same place.

What cafes and restaurants can do today
A till that is not a calculator
Tap what they ordered, take the money, hand over a numbered receipt. Prices come from your menu, so nobody can ring in the wrong amount.
Books that keep themselves
Purchases, expenses, payroll and bank lines post balanced journal entries as you record them, and sales will too once IRD approves KinMol's e-Billing. Your accountant can read it all, with vouchers, groups and Annex 13.
Tables and table bills
Open a bill against a table, move guests between tables, add to the bill through the evening, and settle once.
A kitchen screen
Orders appear in the kitchen the moment they are taken. You can also print a kitchen order ticket.
Order from the table with a QR code
Guests scan the code on the table and order from their own phone, with no app to install. The kitchen sees it at once, and they pay at the table or at the counter.
A menu with add-ons and photos
Categories, items, sizes and add-ons, a photo for each dish, veg or non-veg, and what is available today.
Table reservations
Take a booking for a table and see it beside the day's orders.
Delivery app orders in one place
Record each order from Foodmandu, Pathao Food, Bhoj or Hungry Nepal with the app’s order number. It goes to the kitchen like any order. Each app is a customer of your business, and its orders settle when the app pays out. The commission is recorded for your accountant to book.
A website with your live menu
Choose a design made for cafes and restaurants. Customers see your menu at yourname.kinmol.com and order online for pickup or delivery.
Online payments into your own account
Customers pay with Fonepay QR, eSewa, Khalti, NPS, IME Pay or cards (Apple Pay and Google Pay too) straight into your own merchant account. KinMol never holds your money.
Fonepay QR
Fonepay QR comes first at checkout: buyers scan with any bank app, and the order shows Paid the moment the bank confirms.
Kitchen tablets and printers
Pair a kitchen tablet with a 6-digit code. Orders show up on it, and kitchen tickets print through the KinMol print bridge on a PC. Each section, like the bar, gets only its own items.
Counter accepts, the kitchen gets it
Online, QR and delivery-app orders wait at the counter. Accept one and it goes to the kitchen tablet or printer by itself, or switch on automatic accept for each kind of order.
Delivery-app orders without retyping
Paste the order text from the app's tablet, email or SMS and KinMol reads the items. Apps that send orders to KinMol's order feed arrive on their own; none of the apps has connected yet.
Split and merge bills
Split a table's bill by item onto a new bill, or bring two bills together. Prices and what the kitchen has made stay as they are.
A ready-for-pickup screen
A TV at the counter shows order numbers as they are being made and when they are ready to collect. Numbers only, never a name.
Cash in and out on every shift, and a Z report
Record change put in and cash taken out with a reason, count the drawer at close, and print the X or Z report on a receipt roll. A cash out over Rs 2,000 needs a manager.
A screen facing the customer
A second screen at the counter shows the bill as it is rung up: items, VAT and the total.
Keys for a busy counter
F2 takes payment, F4 sends to the kitchen and F8 prints the pre-bill, even while the scan field has the cursor.
Purchases, expenses and payroll reach the books as you record them, and sales join them once IRD approves KinMol's e-Billing.

A proper Nepali tax invoice
Numbered in an unbroken sequence per fiscal year, with your PAN and VAT shown correctly. Switches on once IRD approves KinMol's e-Billing software; until then every sale prints a numbered receipt.
Before you switch
Is it really free?
Yes. The till, bills and receipts, double-entry books, staff, branches and every business you run cost nothing, with no trial that runs out. You only pay if you use NEX, our AI assistant.
Do you take a cut of my sales?
No. What you ring up on your till is yours. We do not charge a percentage on sales, and we do not hold your money. Online payments go straight into your own eSewa or Khalti account.
Will my accountant be able to use it?
That is the point of it. Purchases, expenses, payroll and bank lines post balanced double-entry journals as they are recorded, and sales will too once IRD approves KinMol's e-Billing. Vouchers, account groups, journal approval, Annex 13, the e-TDS file and the trial balance are there to read, and reports export to Excel, CSV or PDF. An auditor can have a read-only seat. Give your accountant their own login with the accountant role and they see the books without being able to change your prices.
Does it handle Nepali VAT, PAN and the fiscal year?
Yes. VAT is set per item at 13% or zero, and the fiscal year runs Shrawan to Asar, worked out from the real Bikram Sambat calendar. Bills carry your PAN and are numbered in one unbroken series per fiscal year. Tax invoices switch on once IRD approves KinMol's e-Billing software; until then every sale prints a numbered payment receipt.
Is KinMol approved by IRD?
Not yet. KinMol's e-Billing software is waiting for IRD approval, so tax invoices are switched off for every shop. Sales are recorded with a numbered payment receipt until IRD approves it, and we will say so here the day it happens.
Can I use KinMol in Nepali?
Yes. Choose नेपाली in your profile and the staff console and the phone app switch to Nepali: every screen, in the words IRD and Nepali accountants use. This website is in Nepali too: use the EN | NP switch at the top.
Who can see my business’s data?
Only the people you add to your business, and only what their role allows. A cashier cannot open the books and a kitchen screen cannot see the money. This is enforced by the database itself, not just by hiding buttons.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The console works in your phone’s browser, and the KinMol app for Android is in testing on Google Play now; the public release on Google Play and the App Store is coming soon. The till is built for a tablet on the counter, and your guests can order from their own phone with a QR code without any app.
Can I use my barcode scanner?
Yes, if it types like a keyboard and ends each scan with Enter or Tab. That is how USB and Bluetooth scanners of that kind work. You can also scan with the camera on a phone or laptop. A phone uses its rear camera, and the torch where the phone has one. At the till, a scan puts the item on the bill at your catalogue price, and scanning again adds one more. A guided setup adds each scanner with a test scan.
Do I need new barcodes for my products?
No. If a product already has the maker’s barcode, KinMol uses it as it is and never replaces it. EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A and ITF-14 codes are checked, and any other code is kept exactly as you enter it. For a product without a barcode, KinMol can make a code starting with KM- when you ask. It is a code for use inside your shop. It is not a GS1 or EAN number. Print barcode and price labels on A4 sticker sheets or a thermal label printer.
Do you connect to Foodmandu and Pathao Food?
Not automatically yet. Today you record each order from Foodmandu, Pathao Food, Bhoj or Hungry Nepal in KinMol with the app’s order number, and it goes to the kitchen like any other order. Each app is a customer of your business, and its orders settle when the app pays out. The commission is recorded as information, and your accountant decides how to book it. Automatic import will come when each app opens its order feed.
Can I bring my existing records across?
Yes. Items, customers and suppliers import from an Excel or CSV file, with a template and a check of every row first, and your books come across from Tally or an Excel file. NEX can also read a photo of a supplier bill into your stock and books, and you check it before it saves.
Which couriers can I use?
Eight couriers work with KinMol. Pathao, Nepal Can Move and Aramex connect directly, so KinMol books the parcel and fills in the tracking number. Pick & Drop, Dash Logistics, Upaya, Fab Bud and Daraz Express take an automatic pickup request, and you paste the tracking number back on the order. Delivery updates arrive on the order and you can print a parcel label. Each shop uses its own courier account.
How does courier automation work?
Set your dispatch rules once, then book a parcel straight from the order. For Pathao, Nepal Can Move and Aramex, KinMol books it and fills in the tracking number. For the others, KinMol sends the pickup request with the delivery details and keeps the tracking number you paste back. Delivery updates come in on the order, and you can print a parcel label. Daraz Express is left out of automatic dispatch, because it only carries orders sold on the Daraz marketplace.
Can it run my garage, gym, school or rental business?
Yes. A garage or repair shop gets job cards, vehicle records with service history, serial numbers and IMEI, and warranty checks. A gym gets plans, memberships and member check-in at the desk. A school or tuition centre gets courses, batches, enrolments and class attendance. An equipment rental business gets hourly, daily and weekly rentals with return condition and late fees. A property business gets listings, viewings, leases, rent billing and maintenance requests. A studio or agency gets quotations that turn into bills, projects with deliverables, and recurring client billing.
Can customers pay online?
Yes. Customers can pay with Fonepay QR, eSewa, Khalti, NPS OnePG, IME Pay, Nabil Bank cards, or Cybersource cards with Apple Pay and Google Pay through NIC Asia or Global IME Bank. The money goes straight into your own merchant account, and KinMol never holds it. Going live with online payments needs your business to be verified, and each gateway needs your own merchant account with it.
Can I use my own domain and email?
Yes. Every business can have a free address at yourname.kinmol.com, or use your own domain, which you prove with a DNS record. You can also send invoices, receipts and messages from an address like hello@yourbusiness.com.np once KinMol has checked your DNS records. Until then they go from KinMol’s address. Your business needs to be verified first. You can also have real inboxes like hello@yourbusiness.com.np, personal or shared with your team, and read them in KinMol Mail. Three are included, and KinMol can add more.
What can NEX do?
NEX can answer questions about your business, add a product with a photo it makes for you to check, and read a photo of a supplier bill into your stock and books. A person confirms every change before it is saved. It costs Rs 1 for each message and Rs 10 for each image.
